Energy Psychology Sessions

Energy psychology began in the 1980s when psychological therapists started integrating Eastern energy approaches with Western psychological therapy. By using awareness of the Chinese meridian system or the Indian chakra system in their work, therapists found that people were able to work through their clients’ emotional issues more quickly. Energy psychology has an expanding evidence base.

Energy psychology has expanded to include a range of different techniques. The most well known and well researched is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). This involves tapping on the end of the meridians while working through psychological issues.

I have trained in a range of different energy psychology methods including the Emotional Freedom Technique, Psychoanalytic Energy Psychology (PEP) and Blue Diamond Healing. I am a member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, which is the professional body for energy psychologists.

I have used energy psychology for my personal development and it has led to lasting change in my life. I have also seen many of my clients transform through its use in our sessions.

My experience is that energy psychology can work more quickly than traditional psychotherapy. It can unearth deep underlying issues and clear them from the subconscious, allowing people to move forward in life.
